The man behind Lo-bat was born in Belgium somewhere at the end of the 70s. Until he started fooling around on a borrowed Game Boy and a Game Boy Camera he found somewhere dirt-cheap in a garagesale, nobody -especially not himself- could have suspected he would grow an interest in underground electronic music. Intrigued by pioneers like 6995, Role Model and Bud Melvin, Lo-bat became convinced making music on Game Boy was the future and dropped everything he was doing (to give you an idea: making animation movies, studying Jimi Hendrix solos and finding a job) to dig for gold in the far away kingdom called Micromusic. Lucky enough to be one of the first ones there, the lack of competition proved to be very effective and soon after his first demo, Lo-bat found himself touring all over Europe. Nowadays Lo-bat luckily has come to his senses and threw himself on the much more secure market of drawing comics. For the city of all cities though, he gladly makes an exception and once more fishes his gear from under his bed. The sun is down, full moon is up and Lo-bat is out of his coffin: beware!
